National Council of Jewish Women of Australia (Victoria) is a not for profit, voluntary, local and national Jewish women’s organisation. Its purpose is in the spirit of Judaism to promote social justice, welfare and the advancement of women in Jewish and general communities, locally nationally and internationally. 

NCJWA (Vic) provides a wide range of opportunities for its members to participate in stimulating and enjoyable events.
These range from

• Activities that promote cross cultural engagement and interfaith dialogue
• Forums on social issues
• Educational programs
•  Weekly activities for the elderly including Senior Citizens Clubs, entertainment and outings
• Social Support Programs for single women, immigrants & refugees

Additionally we operate an opportunity shop in Caulfield.

NCJWA is the sole representative of Jewish women on the Australian Women’s Coalition. Through this advisory committee, we provide the only voice for Jewish women to the Federal Government.

Our support for Israel includes the Ethiopian Women’s Scholarship Fund (University of Haifa), Haifa Rape Crisis Centre, ILAN Foundation for Disabled Children (Tel Aviv) and projects with Jewish National Fund.
